The recent blog post by Ros Foster and Patrick O’Connell of Browne Jacobson invited us to take a step back from the awesome complexity of the GDPR as we get closer to 25 May and focus our energies on the Regulation’s core principles. It is too easy to get stuck in the GDPR’s “rush hour traffic” at this point and we hope our most recent GDPR content enhancement will help you maintain a sense of perspective.
We are pleased to announce the launch of our In-house GDPR toolkit. This presents Practical Law’s content on the GDPR, Data Protection Bill and related areas in one place in an easy-to-follow format.
The toolkit is designed for in-house lawyers tasked with advising on their organisation’s GDPR compliance efforts and includes:
- Trackers showing guidance published by the Article 29 Working Party and the ICO and the progress of the Data Protection Bill and E-Privacy Regulation.
- Detailed practice notes on broad GDPR themes.
- Practice notes targeted on discrete topics and compliance tasks.
- Standard documents including board memos, policies, standard clauses and agreements.
- PowerPoint slides for training purposes.
- Checklists providing practical step-by-step guides.
- Videos featuring leading practitioners sharing technical knowledge and practical tips.
- Articles and blog posts on key topics by data protection experts.
The toolkit includes a number of recent additions to the Practical Law content suite:
