Rob Beardmore biography

Rob Beardmore joined Practical Law in August 2016 as a senior editor in the In-house and International editorial teams. He qualified in England as a solicitor in October 2006 and went on to work as an in-house lawyer for several substantial multinational corporations. Firstly, Rob focused his practice on technology outsourcing at Xerox. He subsequently moved to the global payment system operator, Visa, where he advised in connection with product development, sales and marketing and in relation to risk and compliance in emerging markets. Most recently Rob spent four years as senior legal and compliance counsel at Control Risks, a leading global risk consultancy, where he advised on a broad range of matters including commercial contracts, IP / IT, data protection, corporate governance, risk and compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Rob is currently a non-practising solicitor.
